The big event next week is the screening on Thursday of Norway the Twin Nation with Lesley Riddoch.
Our Branch in partnership with YES Perth City are hosting this evening and we’re hoping for a full house at our largest venue so far.
Doors open in the Sanctuary at St Mathews Church at 6.30pm for a 7pm start and free tickets can be booked on eventbrite .
Do Scots know enough about our successful wee European neighbours? NATION is a series of films by Phantom Power Films and Lesley Riddoch that sets out to highlight just what small nations can achieve with self-belief, a willingness to innovate and the right powers. Norway – The Twin Nation explores what Scotland can learn from our Nordic neighbour, which shares a very similar population size, climate, landscape and resources to ours. After the screening there will be an opportunity for a blether with Lesley Riddoch about the film.Whatever your views on Scottish independence, the film is an eye-opener. We hope that people on both sides of the constitutional divide will come along to be challenged and inspired by it.Admission is free, but booking is essential. Doors open at 6:30 pm, with the screening at 7:00 pm.This event is jointly sponsored by Yes Perth City and SNP Perth St Johnstoun Branch.
