We have a  Branch Meeting next Tuesday , the 21st August at 7.30pm in the Grampian Hotel, York Place.

Why not come along and join in with like minded folk , hear about our  plans and ideas for Scotlands future , have your say or just listen and learn.

Looking further ahead I’m pleased to say we have Gordon MacIntyre-Kemp, the CEO of Business for Scotland booked for Thursday 13th September. Gordon is touring the country with his presentation and this event will be his only Perth appearance.

Our Branch is hosting this talk in partnership with YES Perth City and hopefully it will be well attended. We’re using the free ticketing system on eventbrite to get an idea of numbers for refreshments and seating so please use the link to let us know if you’re coming along.

Gordon MacIntyre-Kemp Gordon MacIntyre-Kemp is the Founder and Chief Executive of Business for Scotland (BfS), business and economic policy think tank and campaigning group for independence. He’ll outline the plans for the new independence campaigning activity that BfS is launching – and how the grass-roots independence movement can get involved. Gordon’s message is “Don’t talk about the date of the next independence referendum, take the benefits of independence to the voters and move support to a winning position and the date will take care of itself”. In 2018 BfS set up the Independence Ambassador Programme to train and mentor campaigners in highly advanced voter conversion tactics, and will shortly be publishing its new book ‘Scotland the Brief’ that aims to win the debate on the economics of independence before the referendum is even called.
